Paral-Lel - Barcelona

The staff were very helpful and the hotel was in a very central location. You could walk 10 mins to La Ramblas.

I have back problems and found the matress too hard to sleep on.

Savoury and nice breakfast with lots of food. Impressive and new-fashioned rooms with central heating, a safe box, and multi-channel TV. Had particularly good and absolutely perfect location very close to L3 Metro station Paralel, minutes away from Alligator Alley.

The Hotel was in an ideal location for us as we were going to a concert nearby, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was adequate, the lifts were always there as well and didnt have to wait long.

The only problem was, we arrived to be told the water was going to be off for an hour and a half which luckily it was ok and there was building work going on to improve the Hotel which sounded as though it was above our heads, but luckily they did not start the work until after 10 in the morning and we never heard them in the afternoon when we came back to change for the evening.

Hotel is not far from city centre, close to metro station(2 lines), on a wide, well light street. Personal was friendly and willing to help. Few nice places to eat in vicinity(pizzeria La Bella Napole and restaurant La Bodegueta just two blocks away).

A bit noisy in the morning, breakfast isn't worth it's price, way they make bed.

I loved my stay, as the hotel was just a short walk from both the bustling Las Ramblas and the beautiful Montjuic park, making my city strolls enjoyable and convenient, while the staff members were friendly and helpful throughout my visit.

A nice and well located place, near to the metro, near to Burger King, supermarkets, drugstores... The staff was very harmful, and the price was cheap. Definitely I will stay there again.

Very convenient for what I wanted to do in Barcelona; staff were pleasant and helpful; when the ac broke down irretrievably, they moved me to another (better) room.

Comfortable room, friendly staff, the bed was washed every day and the delicious buffet breakfasts offered various goodies every day.

Everything was perfect.

Staff at main desk spoke English, that was very helpful. Location good for walking to a lot to major things like Placa Espanya (where the dancing fountains are), the port (if you are taking a cruise). Continental breakfast had a lot of choices of buns and sweet rolls, cereals, toast, juices, tortilla, cold meat and cheese, yoghurts... Overall good place for the money and location in a city like bcn. Although I am a solo traveller, I usually book twin or double rooms. Here the single room was way too small so I moved to a large twin the next day as I was staying 5 nights. The single I had did not have a safe in it.

The hotel could easily go from drab to fab re decor, needs a little paint in the halls and spruce up of lobby furniture. Breakfast room was kind of dull looking.

Fairly clean, brand-new hotel with particularly good location in a very central neighborhood. The staff - welcoming and accommodating. Savoury and particularly nice breakfast, lots of food and beverages.

Room was large and comfortable, also bathroom was modern in design. Room was very clean. Great location, just next to Paral.lel metro, and only a 15 minute walk to Rambla and plaza de Catalunia. Staff was very nice and helpfull.

The noise from the busy street outside was intolerable at times!!! Some organizational issues surrounding breakfast arrangements were frustrating and could definitely use improvement!!!

Near the city center, 100m to metro station Paral-el, and near mountain Montjuic and Placa de Espana. Room, bed and bathroom were comfortable.

In room everything is very audible that occurs in the next rooms, there is no noise isolation, it was impossible to sleep some days because of loud neighbors, and noise from the street....
